Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor is an American producer and actor, has been known for her roles in the movie Ray Undercover Brother as well as in The Mentalist. She earned the B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting at Tisch School at New York University. Aunjanue is an American actor, producer and director who is employed in film and television. Her stage debut was in the year 2000 before appearing in mainstream, independent, as well as television shows. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. The BET's amazing series The Book of Negroes she played the role of Ariel. Not only did she get praise from critics for her performance, but she was also awarded and nominations. In 1995 she was the first actress to make her debut on stage in The Tempest as Ariel. Stage credits comprise Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production by Joe Turner. The most recognizable part of her career is her role in the series Men of Honor, the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help.
