Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in combat sports. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling and BJJ before making her amateur debut at age 18 at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd built on this victory and went on a 3-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in each fight. Then she returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia gave Aspen an unanimity loss and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's professional career. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC. Invicta eleven saw Aspen dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta Fc 16 was her first bout as a bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill as she managed to finish her fight in the third round via TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in an "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd did not make an appearance at the. Aspen, however, beat Hoy by using TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the final fight with the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Her UFC debut was on UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina by grounding and pounding her before prevailing by TKO during the second round. In her second fight, she overcame Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first minute and received a bonus for her performance on the evening. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent in a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's debut major fight. Ladd was victorious in the unanimous decision after a great back-and forth fight with the fighters got the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. in the 3rd round on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a replacement she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She lost by unanimous decision.
