She rejected the role initially as the character wasn't that powerful. Glen came up with a completely new role for her, using Sheba as a stronger role model. The Living Legend's initial 25-page script was read to Sheba and she was immediately in agreement. The show ran for one season. She co-starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) and also co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
